It worked! My application for J.'s preschool to be a Green School worked and we'll be the first certified Green Preschool in the state of Maryland! There are other Green schools that include a preschool class, but we're the only just-preschool school. Anyhow, the director and I wrote some stuff up and sent it to the local paper, who ran it as an article today! And they used a photo that I had taken of my girls gardening at the school two weeks ago as part of the school's Earth Day celebration. Technically C. won't attend the school until next year but she's there with me enough that we just let it go that they're all students. Check it out!

What an accomplishment! You are an inspiration to all of us new moms out there! Your kiddos and their school (now and future schools) are lucky to have a wonder woman like you. Don't you just wish they could do preK-12 in that school though? But alas, they must move on, and your volunteering will never end...
