We got lots of good stuff from the CSA this week. This is definitely the time of year where the payoff comes in! We also got cabbage and random greens. I think I need to get a partial share next year bc we just don't like the plentiful veggies.
We're watching good episodes at the end of "LOST" Season 3. I'm so excited to see each episode. I think if I had to watch them once a week like everyone else, I'd go crazy. Of course, I'd be a lot more productive if I wasn't watching several episodes per night several nights per week (come on, netflix!).
Best Moment of the Day: rocking C. before bed, she reached up and put her tiny hands on each of my cheeks and gently pulled my face forward to give me a little kiss. Oh man. That's the stuff.
Worst Moment of the Day: I got so behind at work today. I had a huge load to tackle in various meetings and it would only fit if no one said anything but me. Instead, one thing ran into the next which ran into the next and I'm actually still not done today's work to-do list. But the worst part is that I started the day by buying feeder fish for the garter snake at Masonville. So I had 20 small fish in a big puffy water bag sitting next to my laptop for only an hour. Which turned into 3 hours. And by the time I got them to Masonville, 6 of them had died. I wish they hadn't had a long slow suffocating death. I feel bad about that. Luckily, the snake ate them anyway so they got where they were going.
Thoughts of the Day: Lisa Y. birthed her own son into her hands on her bathroom floor on Monday. Dang.
That's mostly what I've been thinking in between all of my work. Just imagine that. She's so amazing. It's such a dramatic story.
And then every now and then, I think of how heroic her husband James is for being the guy that had to clean up the bloody bathroom floor later. Dang.
